Happy Spring, everyone!
This is the place to check for negotiations news as it unfolds. The session previously scheduled for April 8, 2009 was cancelled because district officials knew they would have little solid information regarding the financial situation of the district at that time. Although the regular legislative session has ended, there have been promises to "tweak" the school finance package during the wrap-up session that won't happen until later this month. We are currently working to find a new meeting date to be at a time after final legislative action has occurred, and district officials have a good handle on what our budget will look like.
